  Monday, June 12, 2023 -  The FWC joined local law enforcement to conduct high visibility patrols at Baynard Point on the St. Johns River during Clay County’s unofficial holiday, “Boater Skip Day.”

• FWC reports ZERO boating accident fatalities over Memorial Day weekend

  Monday, June 5, 2023 -  Between May 27-29, FWC officers removed approximately 100 unsafe and impaired vessel operators across the state of Florida for boating under the influence and responded to over 30 boating accidents. There were zero fatalities reported during this time.

• Governor DeSantis signs legislation honoring FWC Senior Investigator Kyle Patterson

  Friday, June 2, 2023 -  On June 9, 2022, Senior Investigator Kyle Lee Patterson succumbed to injuries sustained in a line-of-duty collision in which a vehicle traveling in the wrong direction crashed into Investigator Patterson's patrol truck.

• FWC to meet May 10 and 11 in Miami

  Tuesday, April 25, 2023 -  The FWC will meet in person May 10-11 at the Hilton Miami Airport Blue Lagoon, 5101 Blue Lagoon Drive, Miami, FL 33126. The meeting begins at 8:30 a.m. ET each day and is open to the public.
