  Thursday, June 24, 2021 -  New rules require owners of pet tegus and green iguanas to apply for a no-cost permit and mark their pets with a Passive Integrated Transponder (PIT) tag, also known as a microchip.

  Tuesday, May 25, 2021 -  The regional event will be held June 5 at the Brevard Zoo in Melbourne. All tagging event locations will have PIT tagging services available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• FWC to mechanically remove floating invasive plants in Lake Kissimmee

  Monday, May 24, 2021 -  The FWC, in cooperation with the SFWMD, is mechanically removing invasive floating plants and floating tussocks from the south end of Lake Kissimmee. The project is scheduled to continue through June.
