FWC partners with RBFF to fund youth fishing education in Florida
Wednesday, April 12, 2023 - The FWC and RBFF will support five organizations that help Florida’s Hispanic youth learn about conservation, fishing practices and fishing gear to create confident and responsible anglers. -
FWC to conduct restoration project at Saint Andrew Bay
Tuesday, April 11, 2023 - This project will restore seagrass habitat lost due to a vessel grounding event. FWC staff will first restore the grounding area to natural sediment grade followed by transplanting native seagrass. -

Tuesday, March 28, 2023 - The season will reopen Aug. 6 and the two-day recreational sport season is the last consecutive Wednesday and Thursday of July, which is July 26 and 27 this year. -

Monday, March 27, 2023 - This closure includes all state and federal waters south of Cape Sable on the Gulf coast and south of Cape Florida on the Atlantic coast including all of the Florida Keys and Biscayne Bay south of Rickenbacker Causeway. -
