T.M. Goodwin WMA will have limited access beginning in early November 2021 while the St. Johns Water Management District (SJRWMD) conducts construction activities at the S-96 water control structure. Enjoy fishing and hunting, or explore levee trails for excellent wildlife viewing, hiking, bicycling and horseback riding.

Wildlife

Abundant wildlife, especially in the cooler months, earned T.M. Goodwin a spot on the Great Florida Birding and Wildlife Trail.

Habitat and Management

Extensive freshwater marshes are managed for diverse wetland wildlife.

History

Natural marshes that were altered by agricultural production are now being restored to provide for the long-term health of Florida’s fish and wildlife.
