Managed in cooperation with Lee County, the WEA is east of Ft. Myers and is the county’s largest regional park.
The site’s long history includes cattle grazing, timbering and citrus production.
The WEA is located on S.R. 80, about nine miles east of I-75; three miles east of Alva.
