Please Note: Whole deer carcasses and high-risk carcass parts from the CWD Management Zone cannot be exported out of the zone. Learn more about Florida's rules related to carcass importation.

Sample Submission Steps for CWD Monitoring. Remove the deer’s head, leaving about 4 inches of neck. Antlers can be removed and kept. Remove with the skullcap or at the base of the antlers. Place the head in the provided plastic bag and knot it shut. Complete all sections of the CWD Sample Tag, including your name and harvest confirmation number. Seal the CWD Sample Tag by removing the white paper backing and pressing the clear portion down. Attach tag to the bag with a zip-tie. Put in freezer.
