Herky Huffman/Bull Creek WMA Camping

PLEASE NOTE

Beginning July 1, 2026, an no-cost permit that can be obtained online will be required to camp on Herky Huffman/Bull Creek WMA. Persons hiking through and camping on the Florida National Scenic Trail are exempt from camping permit requirements.

Camping is allowed only at the designated campground during hunting seasons. See the Regulations Summary Brochure for season dates and a map showing the campground location. The campground has no designated sites.

Beginning July 1, 2026, a no-cost camping permit (available online) will be required.

Only tents, trailers or self-propelled camping vehicles may be used. The name, address and telephone number of the person responsible for each campsite must be clearly displayed on the camping shelter.

Through-hikers on the Florida National Scenic Trail may use two designated campsites along the trail. Each campsite provides a fire ring, water pump and picnic table. Note: water from wells is not certified for human consumption.
