Webb Lake Campground

Ninety-five (95) sites are available for camping during several hunting seasons. For specific dates when camping is allowed, see the regulations brochure. Reservations are required during the General Gun season. Reservations and permits are obtained through the online permit system below. During the hunting seasons the campground is for use by hunters.

Overflow Area

One hundred forty-one (141) sites are available for use during the hunting seasons. For specific dates when camping is allowed, see the regulations brochure. During the hunting seasons the campground is for use by hunters.

  • In addition to the camping permit, permit holders are required to have a management area permit or a daily use permit for each day camped. (See management area brochure for exemptions). During the hunting seasons the campground is for use by hunters.
  • It is the permit holder’s duty to instruct all guests of any nature as to conditions of the camping permit.
  • The permit holder must vacate the campground upon expiration of the permit or if permit is revoked for non-compliance with permit conditions.
  • Leaving the campsite unattended for more than 5 consecutive days may result in revocation of a permit.
  • Upon booking your campground stay, you will receive a confirmation email with the dates of stay and the permit conditions. This confirmation email will serve as your camping permit and needs to be displayed while camping. You will need a separate permit for each of the seasons you plan on camping.
  • Applying for multiple sites or applying for camp sites for others may result in revocation of the permit.  Only adults 18 years of age or older can apply for a permit.

  • A camp site reservation and a permit dated for a specific length of stay is required during the General Gun Hunting Season.
  • A permit dated for a specific length of stay is required for the Archery Hunting Season, Small Game Hunting Season, and Weekends and Holidays outside of Hunting Season.

Webb Lake Campground Description

Webb Lake Campground is off Webb Lake Road. The sites are located in two loops in a pine flatwood. All 95 sites are primitive and have no facilities except for vault toilets. The sites are open year-round. Some sites are designated for ADA as shown on map.

Seasonal flooding may occur in tent camping areas.

Overflow Campground Description

The Overflow Campground is 141 sites in an open field. All sites are primitive and have no facilities except for vault toilets. These sites are only available during Archery Hunting Season, General Gun Hunting Season, and Small Game Hunting Season.

  2. It shall be the PERMITTEE’s duty to fully instruct all guests of any nature as to the conditions of this permit.
  3. The PERMITTEE and their guests shall comply with all camping permit conditions, WMA rules and applicable environmental laws.
  4. The PERMITTEE specifically understands and agrees that any violation or breach of the conditions of this permit by the PERMITTEE, or any guest, shall be deemed a violation or breach of this permit by the PERMITTEE for all purposes related to this permit, and may be grounds for the revocation of this permit.
  5. The camping permit shall be displayed at all times in a manner visible from the road to law enforcement and FWC personnel.
  6. All trailers and campers shall have current registration as required by law.
  7. Kitchen stoves, refrigerators, and freezers that are not contained in mobile campers are prohibited. Lumber, sheet metal and other building materials are also prohibited. Only portable outdoor camping furniture is permitted outside of tents and campers.
  8. All trash shall be transported out of the WMA. Food and trash shall be stored securely to avoid attracting animals.
  9. Littering or the disposal of any liquid or solid waste product is prohibited.
  10. All equipment shall be contained within the boundary of one designated site.
  11. Camp fires shall be contained within the designated campsite and be completely extinguished before leaving the campsite. Individuals shall provide their own firewood. Burning trash including glass, plastic, metal, used lumber and pallets is prohibited. 
  12. Tampering in any way with official markings of campsites is prohibited.
  13. The PERMITTEE shall obtain a reservation for the general gun season.
  14. The PERMITTEE shall not leave equipment at a site unattended for more than five (5) consecutive days.
  15. No one shall obtain more than one permit for the same time period.
  16. Persons with valid camping permits shall camp only at their designated site.
  17. Camping permit holders must be 18 years of age or older at the time of application.
