Apalachee WMA
SUV permit needed for firelines and ungated roads. Driving through fields, or off of established firelines or roads is prohibited.
Apalachicola WMA
SUV permit is not valid on this area per U.S. Forest Service Policy.
Apalachicola WMA – Bradwell Unit
SUV permit is not valid on this area per U.S. Forest Service Policy.
Apalachicola River WEA
SUV permit needed to operate vehicles on service roads and firelines that are not cabled or otherwise mechanically/physically closed to vehicular traffic. SUV permit not valid for Tate’s Hell State Forest portion of this WMA, ample open roads available.
Aucilla WMA
SUV permit not valid for this WMA, ample open roads available.
Beaverdam Creek WMA

Blackwater WMA

Blackwater WMA – Carr Unit
Permit valid only during periods when hunting with archery and gun equipment is allowed.
Blackwater WMA – Hutton Unit

Box-R WMA
Permit holder should display permit to check station operator upon entry into the WMA when check station is manned. Use of vehicles is prohibited on archeological sites, bald eagle nesting areas, newly planted pine plantations, wildlife food plots and areas posted as closed for wildlife surveys. Roads closed by gates or cables are closed to vehicles.

Garcon Point WMA
SUV is valid only in the Clark Tract and only during daylight hours for individuals possessing a valid quota permit. Motor vehicles are only allowed on closed roads.
Joe Budd WMA
Permit holder should display permit to check station operator upon entry into the WMA when check station is manned. Use of licensed vehicles is limited to designated roads (see map). Use of licensed vehicles is prohibited on archeological sites, bald eagle nesting areas, newly planted pine plantations, wildlife food plots and areas posted as closed for wildlife surveys. Roads closed by gates or cables are closed to vehicles.
Juniper Creek
SUV permit is not valid on this area per U.S. Forest Service Policy.
L. Kirk Edwards WEA
Permit holders will need to contact the FWC NW Regional Office at 850-265-3676 (8 am – 5 pm ET, Monday through Friday) for combination to perimeter gates. Licensed vehicles allowed on all closed roads except those closed by cable or physical barriers. Driving on firelines, trails or cross-country (off-road) is prohibited. Permit valid only during periods when hunting with archery and gun equipment is allowed.
Lafayette Creek WMA

Ochlockonee River WMA
Use of licensed vehicles is prohibited on archeological sites, bald eagle nesting areas, newly planted pine plantations, wildlife food plots and areas posted as closed for wildlife surveys. Telogia Creek WMA
SUV permit needed to operate street-legal vehicles on service roads and firelines that are not cabled or otherwise mechanically/physically closed to vehicular traffic. Operating off-road vehicles or driving street-legal vehicles off of established roads or firelines is prohibited.
Tyndall AFB WMA
SUV permit not valid on this area.
Wakulla WMA
SUV permit applies to licensed vehicles only. Use of licensed vehicles is limited to designated roads (see map). Permit holders are required to contact the Wakulla Forestry Site one week prior to selected hunts at 850-421-3101 or 850-421-3103 (8 am – 5 pm, Monday through Friday) for access information to perimeter gates. Use of licensed vehicles is prohibited on archeological sites, bald eagle nesting areas, newly planted pine plantations, wildlife food plots and areas posted as closed for wildlife surveys. Permit valid only during periods when hunting with archery and gun equipment is allowed.
