Thanks to our Partners and Cooperators
Florida’s wildlife management areas are managed for conservation and recreation, offering diverse and exciting public hunting opportunities. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is the lead manager or landowner on over 1.4 million acres. Another 4.5 million acres is open for public hunting thanks to our partners and cooperators (listed below), giving Florida one of the largest wildlife management area systems in the country at over 6 million acres.
The FWC and our hunting stakeholders would like to extend a sincere appreciation to our partners and cooperators for their support in the future of public hunting in Florida.
