Freshwater ecology, plant community interactions, phenotypic plasticity, submerged aquatic vegetation (SAV) research, herpetology, freshwater fish and plant monitoring
Experience
Maggie started as a volunteer assisting with freshwater plant research from 2018-2019 and participated in the EPA's National Rivers and Streams Assessment in 2019. Maggie worked on Lake Apopka restoration efforts of submerged aquatic vegetation in collaboration with UF and St John's River WMD from 2018-2020. Currently, Maggie is assisting on a major bank restoration project on the Peace River and a Threats Assessment and Fish Assemblage study on the Myakka River.
