FWC’s freshwater fisheries researchers often partner with outside organizations, taking advantage of other scientific resources to aid in the conservation of Florida’s freshwater systems. Here you can find information and newsletters devoted to these organizations.

 

Florida LAKEWATCH
Coordinated through the University of Florida since 1986, Florida LAKEWATCH is a lake monitoring program that promotes hands-on volunteer participation in the monthly monitoring of Florida lakes, rivers and coastal waterways.

LAKEWATCH Newsletter
This newsletter, posted four times per year, is a great resource for all things LAKEWATCH and often features articles from FWC’s freshwater fisheries researchers.
