FWC Digital Pathology

Glass histology slides can be scanned into high resolution digital images. This digital pathology integrates the acquisition, management, sharing and interpretation of pathology information in a digital environment, supporting research with digital analytics tools and an online collaborative environment.

FWC uses Aperio eSlide Manager Digital Pathology Management Software to store, document (metadata), organize, view, and annotate scanned slide images. Aperio eSlide Manager software runs from within a web browser, installation of software and download of image scan files is not necessary. This software provides a collaborative shared environment and allows scientists to interact with the digital histology data together in virtual meetings.
