Grants
The FWRI Grants Management Office implements grants administration policy; provides processes and procedures for the preparation of grant proposals and the management of grant awards; and reports on the submission and status of grants in a manner that assures transparency and accountability to FWRI, FWC, grantors and the public. The FWRI Grants Management Office monitors grant spending, compliancy, and ensures reporting deadlines are met throughout the life of a grant.
Grants Office personnel include the Grants Administrator and five Grants Specialists, who are responsible for providing essential support and control to FWRI and internal and external customers. The Grants Office staff ensure compliance with Federal and State regulatory and budgetary policy and procedures for all awarded grants.
The FWRI Grants Management Office is responsible for managing more than 200 active revenue awards received through competitive and noncompetitive Federal, State, Local and Non-profit sources.
Current Grant Awards
All grants listed are as of March 1, 2024. New awards and amendments to existing awards are received throughout the year. (SWG) indicates a grant is a State Wildlife Grant, which is administered by the FWC Division of Habitat and Species Conservation.
