FWC invites public to Harris Chain of Lakes Open House

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) will be hosting an open house on Tuesday, Jan. 14, from 3-8 p.m. at the Tavares Pavilion on the Lake at 200 S. Disston Ave., Tavares, FL 32778. This free event is open to the public and will provide an opportunity to talk with the biologists working on the Harris Chain of Lakes to discuss their work and ask questions. Attendees can view displays on electrofishing, aquatic vegetation management, habitat restoration, fish tagging, fish attractors, stocking, TrophyCatch and more.
