St Vincent White-Tailed Deer

Due to 2018 impacts of Hurricane Michael and the federal government shutdown, the Nov. 21-23, 2018 archery and Jan. 17-19, 2019 primitive weapons white-tailed deer hunts scheduled at St. Vincent Island NWR had been cancelled. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is honoring all previously awarded permit holders by mailing them a new permit. The archery hunt is now scheduled for Oct. 31-Nov. 2, 2019 and the primitive weapons hunt will be Jan. 16-18, 2020. Please contact the St. Vincent Island NWR at 850-925-6121 with any questions or concerns. Additional permits for the archery hunt will be available on a first-come, first-served basis starting July 11.
