About this range:
This public shooting facility offers supervised rifle and handgun ranges. It is owned and operated by Sarasota County with oversight provided by the FWC. The range was created to offer target shooting enthusiasts a place to gain skills and knowledge for safe, responsible firearms handling and target shooting.

- Sarasota Trap Skeet and Sporting Clays (941-488-3223) is in Knight Trail Park adjacent to the rifle handgun ranges.
- Lekatchka Archery Club (941-488-3223) is in Knight Trail Park adjacent to Sarasota Trap Skeet and Sporting Clays.
Both of these clubs are separate and operated apart from the rifle and handgun ranges by nonprofit organizations in conjunction with Sarasota Parks and Recreation.

Supervision:
The rifle and handgun ranges are supervised by range safety officers and volunteers.
Amenities:
- Target frames on the rifle and handgun ranges are provided. Shooters must provide approved targets.
- Concession store has targets, restrooms and drinking water, along with other convenience items for sale.
