Wildlife Impact Management Internship

The Wildlife Impact Management Section works to minimize adverse impacts of fish and wildlife to Florida's environment, economy, and human health and safety.

The Wildlife Impact Management internship provides students the opportunity to work on a variety of projects involving native species conflict wildlife management and nonnative fish and wildlife management. Projects may include data entry and analysis, reviewing data for accuracy, mapping with GIS software, or creating outreach materials.  Interns will gain valuable experience working in an office environment as part of a state wildlife conservation agency.

Unpaid, office-based opportunities are available during Spring and Fall semesters. Upperclassman and graduate students in the Tallahassee area are encouraged to apply. A minimum 3.0 GPA is required. The month-long application period begins 8 weeks prior to the start of the upcoming semester.

To apply, please submit a completed application, resume, and cover letter to Rachael Diaz.
