Focal Species: Least terns, laughing gulls, royal terns, sandwich terns, black skimmers, American oystercatchers.

This approximately 1-mile long portion of the old St. George Causeway is only accessible by boat. It hosts thousands of birds during the nesting season. The areas in which the birds congregate to nest and roost are posted closed to public access each year during the breeding season.
