Focal Species: American oystercatcher, least terns, black skimmers, and a variety of tern species.
This CWA includes sandbars and shoals located south of St. Vincent Island in Apalachicola Bay. In addition to beach-nesting birds, Flag Island CWA supports federally-listed red knots and piping plovers during their migration and over-wintering.
