Land Management Plans in Development
The content of FWC Land Management Plans (LMP) is guided by Chapter 253 and Chapter 259 of Florida Statutes and Chapter 18-2 of Florida Administrative Code. The scope of an FWC LMP covers the management of fish, wildlife, and their associated habitats; recreational opportunities on the area; and management of cultural resources found on the area. LMPs do not cover fishing, boating, public use, or hunting rules and regulations. For an opportunity to comment about the development of fishing, boating, and hunting rules and regulations, you can find more information on the FWC Rules and Regulations page.
