Information Technology
The Office of Information Technology (OIT) is an office within the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. OIT supports the FWC’s program areas by managing an automated information-processing environment that is reliable, secure, cost-effective and responsive. OIT program resources are employed to educate Commission personnel in the use and application of information technology to accomplish the objectives and operations of the Commission. OIT activities and resources provide for the processing, storing and retrieval of data, system development and maintenance, statewide computer network management, information security administration, and general information consulting services supporting the FWC.

To power the FWC vision by becoming the premier provider of information technology services.
Mission:
We will partner with other FWC business units to provide tools and services enabling and maximizing Agency programs and resources through the use of applied technology and analysis.
Goals:
- Increase internal and external customer confidence and satisfaction.
- Increase accessibility to information for internal and external customers as appropriate.
- Maximize the use and value of Agency data.
- Effectively manage the use of our information resources in a cost effective manner.
