Commissioner Gary Nicklaus
Gary T. Nicklaus is a Managing Partner of Nicklaus Brown & Company where he leads a team that co-invests with management in technology and financial services companies. He is also the Chairman of Camden Capital, and a Director of Ad Genius, Goods & Services and Nearshore Technology companies.
Mr. Nicklaus is also Co-Chairman of the Children’s Healthcare Charity, Inc., a non-profit organization that manages the operations of the PGA Tour’s Honda Classic and is the primary beneficiary of the tournament. The tournament is a top event on the PGA Tour and has been voted the premier sporting event in Palm Beach County, Florida.
Prior to his appointment to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Mr. Nicklaus served on the Board of Directors of the Fish & Wildlife Foundation of Florida.
Mr. Nicklaus played golf professionally on the PGA Tour and European Tour and has designed golf courses throughout the United States, Mexico, Spain and the United Kingdom.
Mr. Nicklaus received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from The Ohio State University where he was an All-American in golf.
