Commissioner Steven Hudson

VICE CHAIRMAN

Appointed: July 19, 2019 Term start: August 2, 2022 Term end: August 1, 2027

Steven Hudson began his service to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission in July 2019.  He was reappointed by Governor Ron DeSantis on August 2, 2022, for a term ending August 1, 2027, and was selected by his fellow Commissioners to serve as the Vice Chairman of the Commission on May 3, 2022.

Commissioner Hudson is the President & CEO of Hudson Capital Group.  He serves as the Board Chair of Broward Workshop and is on the Executive Committee of The Marine Research Hub and The Humane Society of Broward County.  Hudson is a Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame Laureate and was inducted into the Nova Southeastern University Entrepreneur Hall of Fame in 2016.

Hudson was raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and graduated from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics.  He enjoys hunting, boating, fishing, spearfishing, scuba diving, and snowboarding.
