Current activity
Rachel works as a phytoplankton taxonomist in the Harmful Algal Blooms lab, identifying and enumerating cells from water samples collected in Florida by our partners and other agencies, as well as private citizens. She also aids in other activities such as data entry and prepping samples to support our fast-paced monitoring efforts.
