Current Activity
I use light microscopy to classify and enumerate phytoplankton in water samples collected throughout the state of Florida to monitor for the presence of HAB species.

As an M.S. student at Florida Gulf Coast University, I am examining phytoplankton population dynamics in the Caloosahatchee estuary in Fort Myers, Florida.
