Tenoroc Shooting Range closed to public Saturday morning

The Tenoroc Public Shooting Range in Lakeland will be closed to the public on Saturday morning, March 29.  The range will reopen at 1:30 p.m. after the conclusion of the Children’s Home Sporting Clays Classic charity event.

This is the 14th year of the popular event that benefits the Tampa-based Children’s Home.  The honorary event chairman is retired Army Gen. Norman H. Schwarzkopf.

The benefit, which annually draws 400 participants, starts with registration at 7 a.m.  The competition begins at 9 a.m. and ends with an awards luncheon at noon.
