FWC announces storm-related closings
in Northeast Region

Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) offices
located in the following counties are closed due to Tropical
Storm Fay as indicated below:
Indian River County:
- FWC Scientific Services Field Office, 255 154th Ave., Vero Beach - Closed 8 a.m.
to 5 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 19
Brevard County south of Highway 520:
- FWC Indian River Field Lab, 1220 Prospect Ave., Suite 285, Melbourne - Closed
noon to 5 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 19
- FWC Melbourne Beach Field Lab, 9500 South A1A, Melbourne Beach – Closed noon to
5 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 19
- FWC Melbourne Freshwater Fisheries Field Lab, 2595 McGraw Ave., Melbourne –
Closed noon to 5 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 19
The FWC will continue to monitor the storm and
will make decisions about other FWC offices and FWC-managed
areas in the Northeast Region as more information is available.
