FWC hosts bald eagle public workshop

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation
Commission (FWC) will host a bald eagle draft management plan
public workshop early next month to provide information and to
receive comments from the public.
The workshop will be in Tallahassee on July 2
from 10 a.m. until noon in Room 272 of the Bryant Building, 620
S. Meridian St., Tallahassee (FWC headquarters).
Written comments should be addressed to Bald
Eagle Management Plan, 1239 S.W. 10th St., Ocala, FL 34471-0323,
or submitted to
eagle_plan@myFWC.com and will be accepted until 11:59 p.m.,
July 2.
The draft plan is available until July 2 at
MyFWC.com, under "Quick
Clicks.” Comments received in writing or during the workshop
will be considered by FWC staff as they revise the draft plan.
The public also will have an opportunity to comment on the
revised plan once it is available in early August.

before the meeting.
