FWC reopens closed portion of
Everglades/Taylor WMA

The Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation
Commission issued an order, effective noon Tuesday, reopening
the portion of Everglades and Francis S. Taylor Wildlife
Management Area in Broward County that had been closed since
April 19 due to a large-scale brush fire.
The fire danger has abated, and public access
will not jeopardize the area’s wildlife resources. |
