An Osceola
subspecies (Meleagris gallopavo osceola) certificate will be awarded to
any hunter who harvests a turkey, which meets the
minimum spur and beard
measurements
, south of, but NOT including Taylor, Lafayette, Suwannee,
Columbia, Baker and Nassau counties.
An eastern subspecies (Meleagris gallopavo silvestris) certificate will be
awarded to any hunter who harvests a turkey meeting the
minimum spur and
beard measurements
in Florida counties north and west of, and
including Taylor, Lafayette, Suwannee, Columbia, Baker and Nassau
counties.
