Nuisance Wildlife Trappers

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) authorizes trappers to take destructive or nuisance wildlife from private property with the consent of the property owner.  Most trappers will charge a fee for their services.

The Nuisance Wildlife Trapping Permit does not authorize the taking of nuisance alligators, deer or bears, most migratory birds, migratory bird nests or state- or federally-listed Species of Special Concern, Threatened or Endangered Species.  Additionally, nuisance trappers taking venomous reptiles are required to have a Venomous Reptile License.
