Identification: 
The pale gray winter plumage of this bird turns to a streaked plumage in the breeding season.  The large, white wing stripes on their black flight feathers make this bird easy to identify in the air. 

Breeding: 
A solitary nester.  Known to nest as early as mid-April in Florida.

Usually 4 eggs (ranges from 4-5)
