Identification: 
Thin, black bill with yellow tip distinguish this tern from all others.  Juveniles may have dull orange bills briefly after fledging, but bills quickly begin to show black color with pale tip.  

Breeding: 
Colonial nester, often nesting with Laughing Gulls and other terns.  

Clutch Size: 
Usually 1-2 eggs (ranges from 1-3)

Incubation: 
25 days

Fledge: 
30-35 days
