Reseate Terns

Identification: 
A small tern with a thin, black bill and very faint pink sheen to breast and belly feathers (difficult to see).  

Breeding: 
Colonial nester.  Only known to breed in the Florida Keys .  One roof-top nesting site has been identified.  Peak nesting occurs in the last two weeks of May.  

Clutch Size: 
Usually 1-2 eggs (ranges from 1-3)

Incubation: 
21-26 days

Fledge: 
27-30 days
