Identification: 
Florida ’s smallest tern.  Bright yellow ill (sometimes with orange tint) and sharply defined white forehead (upside down triangular shape) distinguish this tern from all others.

Breeding: 
Colonial nester and common roof-top nester.  May nest as early as April, but peak nesting occurs in the last two weeks of May.

Clutch Size: 
Usually 2 eggs (ranges from 1-3)

Incubation: 
21 days

Fledge: 
28 days
