Sea Turtle Stranding and Salvage Network at Work

The Sea Turtle Stranding & Salvage Network (STSSN) responds to calls about injured or dead sea turtles all across Florida. Turtles in need of medical attention are picked up and taken to places like the Clearwater Aquarium or Sea World. Dead turtles are brought back to the FMRI lab for further investigation.
