Bay Scallop (Argopecten irradians) Spat

Most adult animals have one mottled gray-brown shell and one white shell, while the orange variety is less abundant. Other color varieties such as yellow, white, or black are more common in juvenile bay scallops, or "spat".

Panthers space themselves so they will have enough food. If panthers lived close together, all the deer would soon be gone, and there wouldn't be enough to eat.
