harmful algae, coastal and estuarine ecology, trophic interactions

Current Activity
I conduct monitoring and event response for the harmful algal bloom program and I’m responsible for system integration, testing, maintenance and calibration of oceanographic instruments and sampling gear used for this work. I help with data entries at the lab and I also keep our boats in good shape.

FWC Facts:
In one spawning season a female tarpon may produce from 4.5 million to more than 20 million eggs.
