Mesic Flatwoods
Overstory of open longleaf pine with some encroachment of hardwoods.
The understory is predominantly low saw palmetto and gallberry,
fetterbush, and wax myrtle. Within the flatwoods are depression
marshes, wet prairies, and cypress swamps and domes.
