Management
Prescribed fire, cattle grazing, and chemical and mechanical
treatments maintain favorable groundcover conditions for species
such as quail and wild turkey and a host of dry prairie adapted
species including the crested caracara, Bachman's sparrow, Florida
sandhill crane, and many others.
