Fees

No Daily-Use Permit currently required. To hunt or fish you must possess the appropriate license and permit.

Facilities

The main trailhead and the entrance to the area are at the corner of Arch Road and Paces Landing Road. Just west of the trailhead is the hunter check station.

Public Access

Salt Lake WMA is open from 1.5 hours before sunrise to 1.5 hours after sunset. During hunting seasons vehicles may be operated on named and numbered roads and parked within 25 feet of a named and numbered road. At other times of year, access is limited to foot, bicycle, or horseback. Vehicle use regulations.

Location

Off SR 46 between Mims and Geneva. From I-95, go west on SR 46 approximately ½ mile, then south on Turpentine Road for approximately 2 miles. At the end of Turpentine Road, go west on Panther Lane approximately ¼ mile, which ends at Arch Road. Go south on Arch Road approximately ¼ mile until the intersection of Paces Landing Road.
