Robert Brent Wildlife Management Area

Robert Brent WMA consists of 8,532 acres in Gadsden and Liberty counties east of SR 65 and north of Highway 20. Access to this area requires a recreational use permit. Hunters seek out the hogs most likely seen near creek bottoms. Vehicle access is limited to hunting days and to the week prior to archery and general gun seasons. Wildlife on the area include white-tailed deer, turkeys, mourning doves, black bear, gopher tortoise, and fox squirrels. The rare Chapman's rhododendron occurs in the northeast area of Robert Bent and can been seen blooming in mid April.  Camping is prohibited on this area.
