Fees

A Daily-Use Permit is required to enter this area, unless you have purchased a Wildlife Management Area Permit. To hunt or fish you must also possess the appropriate license and permit.

Two observation towers, two covered picnic shelters (one with ADA accessibility), with grills; dock; interpretive kiosk; boardwalk; ADA accessible viewing blind

Public Access

During non-hunting seasons, persons may enter the area no earlier than one-half hour before sunrise and shall exit no later than one-half hour after sunset. During hunting days, access to the area is only open to individuals who have a quota hunt permit. Vehicle use regulations.

Location

Levy County approximately 5 miles north of Chiefland. From I-75 take exit 76 (Newberry Road and SR 26) west 37 miles to US Hwy 19, US 19 south to NW 160th St, west on 160th St to entrance.
