Visitor InformationA Daily-Use Permit is required to enter this area, unless you have purchased a Wildlife Management Area Permit. To hunt or fish you must also possess the appropriate license and permit. All visitors must register at the kiosk at the main entrance. Seasonal rains sometimes flood portions of trails and roads. Individuals possessing a valid quota hunt permit may operate vehicles on named and numbered roads during hunts. The Florida National Scenic Trail traverses the area and is open to hikers year-round. Vehicle use regulations - Vehicles may be operated only on named or numbered roads.
- No motor vehicle shall be operated on any part of any wildlife and environmental area designated and posted as "CLOSED" because of inclement weather, poor road conditions, construction, management activities, or wildlife surveys.
- Parking is allowed in designated areas only. No person shall park any vehicle in a manner that obstructs a road, gate, or firelane.
- Airboats, tracked vehicles, and all-terrain vehicles are prohibited.
- Horses and motorcycles are prohibited during hunting periods.
