Visitor InformationFees No Daily-Use Permit currently required. To hunt or fish you must possess the appropriate license and permit. Facilities There is a small picnic pavilion inside the Main Gate and one inside Gate 2. A horse trailer parking area is located inside the main gate on the south side of the canal. There are three primitive campsites on Road 6, on the south side, and one along Road 2, on the south side. Map of Jones/Hungryland WEA  Public Access Vehicles are permitted only on named and numbered roads and in designated parking areas. The main entrance connects the main east/west canal to Pratt-Whitney Road, also called CR-711, and offers miles of unimproved dirt levee roads for vehicles. When entering by Gate 2, vehicles are permitted only for about ¾ mile. The rest of the area is accessible by foot or bike. Vehicle use regulations: - Persons shall enter and exit the area at a designated entrance. See the map of the WEA for the locations of designated entrances.
- Motorized vehicles may be operated only on named or numbered roads and in designated parking areas, unless posted as closed to motorized vehicles.
- Vehicles are prohibited on the Old Jupiter-Indiantown Grade.
- No motor vehicle shall be operated on any part of any wildlife and environmental area designated and posted as "CLOSED" to vehicular traffic.
- Parked vehicles may not obstruct a road, gate, or firelane.
- The use of airboats, all-terrain vehicles, buggies, tracked vehicles and unlicensed and unregistered motorcycles is prohibited.
Location Hungryland is located along the southern boundary of Martin County and the northern boundary of Palm Beach County, west of the Jupiter Farms. From I-95 take the Jupiter (SR 706) exit and go west 6 1/2 miles to the intersection of SR 706 (Indiantown Road) and Pratt-Whitney Road.
