Each mystery presents a scene for you to investigate. Your role is to understand what has happened in the area. You'll begin each with a short, narrative introduction describing the scene and your task.

Move your pointer/mouse cursor across the scene to find clues indicated by hidden magnifying glasses. Each mystery has at least thirteen clues.

When you find each magnifying glass, click on it to get a clue. Many clues have additional information from park rangers or your panther handbook. The clues will generally tell you if there is more information available.

Once you think you have enough clues to know what happened in the scene, choose the "solve case" button. You'll be posed a series of questions. Once you correctly answer them, you'll find how the story ends and be presented a certificate of completion. You can go back between the questions and the scene at any time. If you go back to the scene, however, you'll need to answer all the questions again.

You can end the game at any time by simply closing the window.
