Panther Net was a project of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission's Advisory Council on Environmental Education. • Find out how you can help injured panthers return to the wild
  Unfortunately, many panthers are hit by cars in southwest Florida. You can help these cats by making a donation to the Panther Fund established by The Wildlife Foundation of Florida. This fund was created to aid in the recovery of injured and orphaned Florida panthers. Anyone can donate to this fund. • Since 1972, 88 panthers have been killed by collisions with vehicles. Wildlife crossings and right of way fencing have been installed along more than 40 miles of roadways that cross public lands. No panthers have been killed where these structures are in place.
