FWC hosts iguana technical assistance workshops in Keys

December 04, 2017 

The first workshop in this series will be held in Marathon on Dec. 13 from 5 to 8 p.m. local time at the Hyatt Place, 1996 Overseas Highway. Workshops are also being planned for Key Largo and Key West. 

Free Adult Saltwater Fishing Clinic coming up in Cedar Key

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is hosting an Adult Saltwater Fishing Clinic in Cedar Key on Dec. 5. The free, day-long clinic is from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the FWC Senator George G. Kirkpatrick Marine Lab, 11350 SW 153rd Court, Cedar Key. 

Free Kids’ Fishing Clinic in Sarasota promises day of learning, fun

The FWC will offer a free Kids’ Fishing Clinic for children between the ages of 5 and 15 from 9 a.m. to noon on Nov. 18, at Ken Thompson Park, 1700 Ken Thompson Parkway.

The annual Lake Eaton Kids’ Fishing Derby will be held at the FWC's Ocala Conservation Center and Youth Camp on Saturday, Oct. 14, starting at 8:30 a.m. for children ages 6-12.

The FWC is hosting a free, day-long Women’s Saltwater Fishing Clinic in Crystal River on Saturday, Oct. 7 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the Fort Island Trail Park.  

Bowhunting course offered in Palm Beach County
