FWC to meet June 22-23 in the Apalachicola area

The FWC will meet June 22-23 at the Franklin County School Gymnasium in Eastpoint. The meeting both days starts at 8:30 a.m. Both sessions are open to the public and the public will be provided opportunities to speak.

The FWC invites the public to participate in a meeting on managing plants in Lake Istokpoga. It will be held Wednesday, June 22 from 6-8 p.m. in the Bert J. Harris Jr. Agricultural Center auditorium.

The FWC will meet Feb. 10-11 at the Florida Public Safety Institute, 85 Academy Drive, Havana. The meeting starts at 8:30 a.m. both days and the public will be provided opportunities to speak. 

FWC announces Jan. 20 deadline for comment on plan conserving 57 imperiled species

January 13, 2016 

The deadline for public comment on the plan is Wednesday, Jan. 20. People can go online to read the plan at MyFWC.com/Imperiled and offer feedback by email, using Imperiled@myfwc.com.

FWC announces workshop on Santa Fe boating safety zones

The FWC is holding a workshop to address proposed changes to the boating safety zones affecting vessel speed during flood conditions in the Santa Fe River. The workshop is scheduled for July 9, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Fort White Community Center.
